SWS Group will select its co-founder and chairman Don Buchholz as chairman emeritus. His term as member of SWS Group’s board of directors ends on November 17. Buchholz co-founded Southwest Securities, now SWS Group’s prime unit, with Allen Cobb in 1972. Before this, he was associated with the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, Securities Industry Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers.
