Nordic Capital has dropped its bid for Sweden’s cable television operator Com Hem, Reuters reports. The move by the private equity firm will leave its bidding partner Cinven to rival BC Partners offer. Com Hem owners, Carlyle Group and Providence, are seeking to raise $2.7 billion from the sale. The sellers are also considering an initial public offering and are in discussions with banks about advising on the process, if they fail to crack a deal.
