French building materials group Saint Gobain is purchasing Wolseley’s Build Center, a building materials distribution business in the U.K., Property Magazine International reports. The transaction is valued at £145 million.
Saint Gobain took advice from international law firm Pinsent Masons on the deal. Net assets at completion of the deal are likely to amount to about £136 million. In addition, the firm is also acquiring U.K. automobile manufacturer’s French plumbing and heating distribution business Brossette for £165 million.
