John Stephens was named as Chairman of the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation (GGC) by the board of trustees. Stephens’ appointment follows the resignation of first and former Chairperson Glenn White, who recently stepped down from his post after five years.
Apart from being on the college’s board of trustees, Stephens is also on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he served as president of the Georgia Utility Contractors Association and as a gubernatorial appointee on the Georgia Board of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
