Cornell Endowment Sees Assets Rise In Q2

Cornell University’s endowment disclosed an increase of 17% at the end of the second quarter.

Cornell University’s endowment disclosed an increase of 17% at the end of the second quarter, Bloomberg reports. The endowment reported $5.27 billion in assets after taking into account gifts and expenditure.

The increase in assets comes amid departures of two top endowment fund managers. The school’s investments had reported a 13% increase in the year ended June 30, 2010.
