Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) is seeking to hire two investment officers, Pensions & Investments reports. The Olympian investment board is looking for a fixed-income investment officer and an in-house tangible assets senior investment officer. The chosen fixed-income investment officer will be responsible to manage $13 billion in pension assets. The position of tangible assets officer is new. In November 2007, the board approved a 5% target allocation from the $55 million in state pension assets held in the state’s commingled trust fund to tangible assets.
