World Bank has raised $144 million for a new fund, Bloomberg reports. The Umbrella Carbon Facility will invest in emission credits created from 2013 through 2018.
Investors in the fund include Deutsche Bank, Enel and GDF Suez. The fund reached its full capitalization on Feb. 7, 2011. It had raised $92 million as of Jan. 12, 2011.
