Rockefeller Foundation To Invest In Art Groups

The Rockefeller Foundation will commit about $3 million to 16 local art groups.

The Rockefeller Foundation will commit about $3 million to 16 local art groups, The Wall Street Journal reports. The foundation will invest the money through its 2011 New York City Cultural Innovation Fund competition. The range of the two-year grants for each group lies between $50,000 and $250,000. Dance Films Association, Casita Maria and New York Live Arts are some of the groups that received the foundation’s grant.
