Canary Wharf Group and Qatari sovereign wealth fund Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment have bought Royal Dutch Shell’s London headquarters for £300 million, Bloomberg reports. The companies will redevelop the site into offices, shops and apartments.
Canary and Qatari Diar will each contribute £150 million to develop the campus around tower that contains Shell’s London headquarters. Shell will continue to own the tower, adds Reuters.
