Poland has chosen Czech Republic’s Energo-Pro for exclusive discussions regarding the sale of a hydro power plant in Niedzica, Reuters reports. The hydro power plant is estimated to be valued at nearly $109 million.
The country had previously shortlisted five proposals for the modern hydro power plant. The bidders included listed Tauron Polska Energia, state-owned utility Energa, an investment fund owned by copper miner KGHM and Polish billionaire Jan Kulczyk.
