BNY Mellon has appointed its asset management unit’s interim head, Mitchell Harris, as president of the investment management arm. The unit comprises of BNY Mellon Asset Management and BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He will report to the firm’s vice chairman and investment management CEO, Curtis Arledge. Harris will team up with wealth management CEO, Larry Hughes and also continue to lead asset management’s fixed income, cash and currency group.
