KeyCorp Spins Out FoF Division

KeyCorp has spun out a new company, Cuyahoga Capital Partners, from the team managing its fund of funds group, Key Capital Corporation.

KeyCorp has spun out a new company, Cuyahoga Capital Partners, from the team managing its fund of funds group, Key Capital Corporation (KCC), The Wall Street Journal reports. The managing director, Bart Shirley, has been appointed to head Cuyahoga.

The complete team from KCC will remain intact. The firm has already started fundraising for a secondary vehicle, Cuyahoga Capital Partners IV, targeting about $125 million. Cuyahoga will continue to manage the secondary funds, KCC Investors I, KCC Investors II and KCC Investors III.
