United Technologies Corp. has finalized a $16.5 billion cash deal for acquiring aircraft components maker Goodrich, Reuters reports. It is paying $127.50 a share for Goodrich. The deal also includes $1.9 billion in assumed debt.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is spearheading a $15 billion loan package for the acquisition, while HSBC Holdings and Bank of America Corp. are also participating in the financing. JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group advised United Tech and Goodrich was advised by Credit Suisse Group and Citigroup.
