GE Capital has appointed Ellen Brunsberg as head of capital markets activities in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, Reuters reports. Based in London, she will report to CEO of the firm’s EMEA region Richard Laxer. Brunsberg will join the financial services unit of General Electric in September. She was one of the founders of New York-based hedge fund Voras Capital Management, set up by former Morgan Stanley co-president Zoe Cruz.
