The European Banking Authority says it is delaying until July the release of the results of the current round of stress tests on banks in the European Union, which was originally set for later this month, reports The New York Times.

An unnamed EBA official said the agency had asked banks to submit additional information on their calculations, explain how they would perform in distressed financial markets and to resubmit their results.
