The Federal Reserve has swapped $70 million worth of liquidity with the European Central Bank (ECB) in the week ended February 23, Reuters reports. The terms for the ECB swap were seven days at 1.16%. The ECB was the only institution to make use of the swap lines. The Federal Reserve has swap arrangements with the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, the Swiss National Bank and the Bank of Japan.
