TPG Capital and Carlyle Group are planning to acquire a stake in the mobile-phone towers unit of Reliance Communications (RCOM), Bloomberg reports. The mobile phone operator has also received interest from other potential investors.
Blackstone Group and Apax Partners are also seeking to submit their bid for the sale. RCOM has been seeking to sell the unit for about a year as it looks to lower its debt.
