Vimpelcom is considering five-year and 10-year benchmark Eurobond issues, Reuters reports. The Russian mobile company needs finance for a possible takeover of around $6 billion for Egyptian company, Orascom Telecom, and Italian group, Wind.
The company will hold meetings with investors in London and New York this week for the offering. Vimplecom is planning a dollar Eurobond issue and has appointed Barclays Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland, BNP Paribas and Citi as arrangers.
