van Eyk has appointed Matthew Olsen as the new head of ratings, Financial Standard reports. He will succeed John O’Brien, who has been named head of research for strategic asset allocation. Olsen will now lead a team of 12 analysts managing investment research across all asset classes. Prior to the promotion, Olsen was in charge of rating equity managers in Australia and New Zealand. He has also previously served as senior investment analyst at Colonial First State, Ausbil Dexia and JP Morgan.
