BNP Paribas Chairman, Michel Pébereau, is stepping down from his current role.

BNP Paribas Chairman, Michel Pébereau, is stepping down from his current role, Financial Times reports. Baudouin Prot, the bank’s CEO is expected to succeed Pébereau. Previously, Pébereau has worked with Prot. Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, COO is likely to replace Prot in his role. The proposed changes are likely to take place towards the end of this year or early 2012.
