Solar project developer, BrightSource Energy, is seeking to raise a total of $100 million in private equity, Reuters reports. The company has already acquired $90 million of the total amount and $10 million is still remaining.
The company had secured about $176 million in 2010, out of the $215.5 million initially planned. The investors of the previous fundraising included Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Morgan Stanley, VantagePoint Venture Partners and Alstom.
