Everest Capital has started a long-only version of its frontier markets equity strategy, Pensions & Investments reports. The new strategy uses a top-down macro fundamental approach to provide equities in frontier and smaller emerging markets.
It also uses smaller emerging markets and a bottom-up process to classify regional trends and valued companies with sustainable cash flows. The global macro hedge fund manager manages $2 billion in developed, emerging and frontier market hedge funds.
