Threadneedle Investments is seeking to unveil a flexible global bond fund, Financial Times reports. The Global Opportunities Bond fund will be launched in the third quarter, subject to regulatory approval.
Jim Cielinski, who joined Threadneedle from Goldman Sachs in July 2010 as head of fixed income, will be managing the fund. The product will invest in developed and emerging market government bonds, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, asset backed securities, currencies and fixed income derivatives.
