The IT unit of India’s National Stock Exchange (NSE) has deployed McObject’s eXtremeDB In-Memory Database System (IMDS). The system will substitute traditional relational database management system (RDBMS) software in performance-critical features of NSE.IT’s algorithmic trading solution based on the NeatXS trading platform. NSE.IT’s Algo Solution will use eXtremeDB as the real-time database for NeatXS’ risk management features, which protect Algo Solution users from several risks related to factors, including order size, allocation of margins and gross and net exposure. NSE.IT’s risk management approach aligns required methodologies, technology and data in one solution.
