Jeff Walker has joined Barclays Capital, London-based investment banking division of Barclays Bank plc, as managing director, head of insurance, financial institutions group, Asia-Pacific, The Asset reports. He will work from the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Walker will be in charge of managing the origination of strategic, financing and risk management transactions for the firm’s regional insurance clients. He comes from Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong, provider of global integrated financial services, where he was managing director and head of insurance, Asia-Pacific. Walker has also worked with Prudential Assurance and New York Life.
