Lansdowne Partners has sold its entire stake in Goldman Sachs for $850 million, Financial Times reports. The London-based equity hedge fund manager has offloaded almost 5 million shares in Goldman, adds City A.M.
The stake is almost 10% of the $10 billion that Lansdowne has under management. The stake sale is equivalent to about 1 %of the U.S. bank’s total shares.
