NSSF Picks Six Managers To Revamp Ops

The National Social Security Fund has named six asset managers to streamline its operations.

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has named six asset managers to streamline its operations, The Standard reports. The fund has appointed Kenya Commercial Bank and Standard Chartered Bank as custodians.

Co-op Trust Investments, ICEA Asset managers, CFC Stanbic Investments and Genesis Investments have been appointed to manage a portion of the fund that is invested in equities and debt securities. The Kenyan fund will continue to manage the 30% invested in the property sector, with the assistance of external agents.
