Boeing is planning to put $500 million into its pension plans in 2011, Pensions & Investments reports. The company has not made any contribution in the first quarter of 2011.
Boeing contributed about $35 million to the plan in 2010. The pension plans had $49.2 billion in assets and $59.1 billion in liabilities as of Dec. 31, 2010.
