National Bank of Canada (NBC) is separating the roles of CFO and risk management, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Montreal-based bank has named Ghislain Parent as CFO. Parent will take over the responsibilities from Patricia Curadeau-Grou, who will continue to oversee risk management with regard to mergers and acquisitions until June. From June onwards, William Bonnell will handle risk management, while Curadeau-Grou will move on to become strategic adviser to the bank’s president and CEO. Presently, Bonnell is a senior vice president of risk management.
