APG Asset Management has appointed Claudia Kruse as the new head of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) team, Pensions & investments reports. Currently, she is head of corporate governance at the firm, which she joined in 2009.
In her new role, Kruse will succeed Rob Lake, who joined the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment initiative in May 2011. APG handles the assets of the €237 billion Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, Heerlen, Netherlands.
