Bank of America Corp. (BofA) head of Americas Group of 10 currency strategy Paresh Upadhyaya is leaving the firm, Bloomberg reports. Upadhyaya joined BofA in 2010 from Putnam Investments.
Upadhyaya is joining Pioneer Investment Management Co. as director of foreign exchange. At Pioneer, he will oversee development of a more active currency strategy for hedging against investment risk and generating profits as well.
