Threadneedle Investments has expanded its U.S. equity team with the appointment of two new senior executives. The international asset manager has selected Diane Sobin as fund manager and Nafis Chowdhury as an analyst.
The duo will be based in London and report to head of U.S. equities Cormac Weldon. Sobin is joining Threadneedle from Columbia Management, where she is portfolio manager for U.S. equities, while Chowdhury was previously working with the investment banking unit of Morgan Stanley, where he was an analyst in the U.K. mergers and acquisitions team.
