Credit Suisse has appointed Imran Khan as head of its Internet investment banking, The Wall Street Journal reports. Khan will work under David Wah, global head of technology, and Bryce Lee, head of technology in the Americas.
He will be a managing director based in San Francisco and start in May 2011. Previously, Khan was working as an equity analyst at JP Morgan Chase. He covered Google, EBay, Yahoo and Amazon.com as an analyst, adds Bloomberg.
