Commodities supplier Olam International has witnessed a 38% rise in fourth quarter profit as trading volumes increased. The Singapore-based company’s net income reached $106 million in the three months ended June 30 from $76.49 million a year ago.
Olam’s sales rose 44% to $3.76 billion as trading volumes across all four of Olam’s main business areas grew. The company’s net income grew 24% to $356.29 million in the year ended in June 30.
