The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has named Karen Carraher as executive director of the $76 billion scheme, Global Pensions reports. Prior to this, she was a director of finance at the system.
Carraher had been serving as interim executive director since the end of February. She joined the scheme in 2002. During the same period, the scheme has grown from $2 billion in assets to $76 billion.
