Athens-based non-profit organization Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association has named Kimon Volikas as president, Bloomberg reports. Volikas is also managing director of Alpha Asset Management, a unit of Greece’s Alpha Bank.
Volikas succeeds Aris Xenofos, who resigned as both president of the association and as managing director of EFG Eurobank Mutual Fund Management. The association has also elected Phaidon Tamvakakis, managing director of Alpha Trust Investment Services and Theodoros Krintas, managing director of Attica Wealth Management, a unit of Attica Bank, as vice presidents.
