The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec has selected Pierre Miron as executive vice-president, operations and information technology (IT). Miron, who will also be a member of the firm’s executive committee, will be in-charge of carrying on the repositioning work done during the last two years by the operations and IT teams.
He will be required to ensure that the group’s work is consolidated to increase the operational efficiency of the Caisse and to simplify its technological environment. Before joining the institutional fund manager that mainly serves public and private pension and insurance funds, Miron was associated with CGI Group, National Bank Financial and National Bank of Canada in various capacities.
