Private equity groups, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) and TPG, are considering opening offices in Brazil, Financial Times reports. The firms are also seeking to appoint a new team and a senior manager to head the new offices.
Apax, Permira and BC Partners are also looking at setting up offices in Brazil. Firms, including Blackstone and 3i, have already established footholds in the Brazilian market in the past 12 months.
