The New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany, has provided $55 million to two private equity funds, Pensions & investments reports. The $132.8 billion fund will invest $40 million in JMI Equity’s Fund VII.
The retirement system will also invest $15 million in Capital Alliance’s Private Equity III. The vehicle also added $90 million to Rock Creek Empire Fund, an emerging manager hedge fund of funds managed Rock Creek Group.
