Turkey’s Ziraat Bank has appointed Huseyin Aydin as its new CEO, Reuters reports. In the new role, he will replace Can Caglar, who is likely to join the country’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency. Aydin is joining the firm from state-owned Halkbank, where he held the same position. At Halkbank, his responsibilities will be taken over by Suleyman Aslan, who is presently the head of the treasury and international banking at the bank.
