Anses has appointed its second representative to the board of Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS), Bloomberg reports, citing La Nacion. Maria Franchini will join lawyer, Miguel Mirmi, in representing the Argentine pension agency on the board of the energy company.
Franchini was a former advisor in the Senate to President, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. The move by the agency comes after Kirchner asked the government to exercise its full voting rights in companies in which it owns shares.
