A research firm says individuals should watch money managers and use their ETF strategies when investing, The Wall Street Journal reports. Greenwich Associates interviewed certain money managers and found that 30 percent held more than $1 billion in ETFs and 48 percent said they will increase their allocation.
Some of the pros manage cash by investing in an index-tracking ETF while considering other alternatives. Tax management is achieved by owning short-term holdings in sector ETFs. For balancing and rebalancing, investors should know the net worth built into their salary as well as company stock and use sector ETFs to work around that exposure.
