Aviva North America, a unit of Aviva, has appointed Saskia Goedhart as chief risk officer for the North America region. She will head risk management strategy, including the implementation of the firm’s risk management transformation plan.

She will report to CEO Richard Hoskins. Goedhart will manage the risk management teams of both Aviva USA and Aviva Canada. Earlier, Goedhart has worked with Munich Re Life, ING, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Van Den Boom Groep.
