European aerospace and defense company, EADS, is in discussions to acquire Canada’s Vector Aerospace, a company that repairs and maintains civil and military helicopters, Financial Times reports. Financial details of any deal were not disclosed. Any transaction will be subject to the finalization of due diligence and negotiations with respect to definitive transaction documentation and other customary conditions. Toronto-based Vector started a review of strategic options in late 2010, adds The Wall Street Journal.
