Marjolein Sol, CIO of Dutch pensions manager Syntrus Achmea, is stepping down, IPE report. She will remain senior adviser at Achmea Holding, provider of insurance, banking, and mortgage products, and will be involved with strategic projects.
Sol joined as CIO at Syntrus Achmea in May 2010. She was head of investment advice in the Netherlands for global provider of consulting, outsourcing and investment services Mercer before that. Rogier Krens, who has replaced Sol, will take up his new position January 1. Krens began as manager of treasury and derivatives and has been with Syntrus for several months.
