GE Asset Management (GEAM) has appointed two senior sales professionals to its intermediary business team, PLANSPONSOR reports. Bill Manthorne has been named vice president of sub-advised sales and will report to president and CEO of mutual funds and intermediary business, Mike Cosgrove. Brian McCarthy has been appointed as defined contribution investment only (DCIO) channel leader, reporting to senior vice president of DCIO and annuity channels, Joe Connors. Manthorne will join GEAM from BNY Mellon Asset Management, while McCarthy has most recently worked at Hartford Mutual Funds.
