Warburg, GS Capital To Buy Endurance Stake

Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus and Goldman Sachs’ private equity unit GS Capital Partners are purchasing a majority stake in hosting and online services provider Endurance International Group.

Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus and Goldman Sachs’ private equity unit GS Capital Partners are purchasing a majority stake in hosting and online services provider Endurance International Group. The interest will be acquired from technology-focused private equity firm Accel-KKR.

Endurance’s existing management team and Accel-KKR will retain a holding in the company. Credit Suisse Group, which granted the debt financing for the deal, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton advised Warburg Pincus. Morgan Stanley and Kirkland & Ellis advised Endurance and Accel-KKR on the transaction.
