Credit Suisse Names Commodities Head

Credit Suisse has appointed Paul Hawkins as its new managing director and global head of commodities.

Credit Suisse has appointed Paul Hawkins as its new managing director and global head of commodities, Financial News reports. In his new role, he will be based in London and work under co-heads of global securities Gael de Boissard and Tony Ehinger.

Hawkins joins from Litasco, the Geneva-based marketing and trading company for Russian oil company Lukoil. Most recently, he served as head of trading and supply, specialising in crude oil, refined products, freight and derivatives.
