Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) is planning to sell its Banka Celje unit, Reuters reports. The Slovenian lender has partnered with other local owners of the unit to offer 75.1% of its ordinary shares as well as 57.21% of its preferred shares.
Ljubljana-based NLB expects non-binding offers for unlisted Celje by April 8. NLB, which owns around 49.4% of Celje, is seeking to sell its subsidiaries to boost its capital and it also plans to issue new shares to the value of €250 million.
