Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has hired Kiseok Kim as CEO in Korea. Effective from October 1, he will report jointly to Gilles Planté, CEO North East Asia, Europe & America, and Sameer Sawhney, managing director, corporate and institutional banking and private bank, Asia-Pacific. Based in Seoul, Kiseok will replace H.J. Kim, who is leaving the bank. Previously, Kiseok was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as managing director, branch manager and head of global markets for Korea.
